TP20 Compact module changing touch-trigger probe

The TP20 is a compact 5-way, or 6-way, kinematic touch-trigger probe system. The two-piece design, comprising probe body and detachable stylus module(s), connected using a highly repeatable magnetic kinematic coupling. This provides the facility to change stylus configurations either manually or automatically without the need for requalification of the stylus tips, thereby giving significant time savings in inspection routines.

Modules offering a range of trigger forces allow the probe performance to be best matched to the measurement task. A set of probe extensions is also available, as is a 6-way module. The stylus mounting thread accepts styli from the Renishaw M2 range.

The TP20 system is easily retrofitted and is compatible with existing touch trigger probe interfaces, extensions and adaptors.

MCR20 Stylus Change Rack

The MCR20 stylus module changing rack provides rapid automatic change of modules without the need to re-qualify. Rack functions completely passive not requiring electrical connections. Installation and set up is simple with the aid of a set-up routine in Geomet properly locating the rack within the machine coordinates. The rack is mounted on a stem that is designed with built-in over travel that serves as crash protection.

The MCR20 comes with two modules (6 position rack). The rack can be configured for 2, 3, 4 or 6 ports which are covered with protective docking plates to shield the modules from dirt and debris.

TCR20 is a compact probe module rack for use with PH20 that provides the capability for quick and repeatable tool changing and tip correction.

Based on the industry standard range of MCR20 rack systems, TCR20 securely stores modules for rapid automatic changing, protecting mating surfaces from any airborne contaminants within the working envelope of the machine. The TCR20 is designed for use only with the PH20 Probe Head System.
